You belong with me, swallowed in the sea

24 Oct marks the release of Mylo Xyloto and I can't describe how happy and excited I am right now! I shall start by telling you my love affair with Coldplay.

Last year March, I finally stumbled upon 'The Scientist' and immediately, I felt that song was so painfully true.. at that time I've heard of Coldplay of course. I knew they sang 'Viva', 'Yellow'. So I started Youtubing their songs, I discovered 'Clocks', 'Speed of Sound', 'In My Place', 'Green Eyes', 'Violet Hill' and some other tracks. But it was not until this year I really fell in love with Coldplay.
I was always a fan of alternative rock, listening to Kanye West and 80's/90's music in between but mostly I like my music with lots of piano and guitar riffs. Anyhoo, I got my hands on Coldplay songs and I always felt they're poetic geniuses! All their songs, aren't unoriginal songs about love but they do stuff to the idea of love and repaint it into something unbelievable. They sing about the ways of the world in new refreshing perspectives. Their songs are so catchy and drenched in dedication and dripping with different elements of music. Oh mann.. whenever I'm feeling lost/dazed/confused I find myself listening to Coldplay and I feel comforted already! I may only be a pretty young Coldplayer but trust me, I already love them so much!
Congratulations Chris, Jonny, Will and Guy on your 5th album. Imma get it tmr! <3
